Welcome to The Northern Neck Bone & Joint Center.

If you would like to schedule an appointment, please call 804-443-8670. Our team will find a time that works for you and will be able to help answer any questions regarding your visit.

What to expect during your first visit:

  • Patient interview
  • Detailed physical exam
  • Diagnosis and treatment plan discussed

What to bring to your first appointment:

  • Driver's license or State ID
  • Insurance card
  • Copies of any recent X-rays or MRIs
  • A list of current medications
  • Referral for HMO patients

If you have been or are currently being treated by a physician of Riverside Medical Group, we can access your medical records electronically. If not, and if at all possible, please bring copies of relevant medical records.

This information will help us expedite your appointment and ensure we have everything we need to provide the best possible advice. Your initial visit to Northern Neck Bone & Joint Center will include an evaluation based on your current symptoms or conditions and a thorough medical history.

We want to spend an adequate amount of time with each patient, and make each patient feel comfortable and educated. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your appointment to allow time for necessary paperwork.

If you must cancel your appointment, please let us know at least one day in advance, so that your appointment time can be allocated to another patient seeking treatment.

We pride ourselves on thoroughly and clearly explaining the nature of a condition to our patients. If anything is unclear to you, we encourage you to ask questions. We believe that understanding leads to more successful outcomes.

The Northern Neck Bone & Joint Center accepts most insurance plans. Please be sure to bring your insurance card with you to your appointment.

Medical records
As a means of expediting care and increasing patient safety, we store medical records electronically. This secure system facilitates fast, clear communication among your physicians and specialists. In the event of an emergency, our physicians have immediate access to your medical history, which can be critical and sometimes lifesaving in helping to properly diagnose and treat your condition. Please be assured that your personal medical records are confidential and that we will not release information without your permission.
