More Information: Osteoporosis is a preventable and treatable medical condition affecting about eight million women and two million men in our country, leading to an increased risk of fractures with increased mortality and poor quality of life. Will discuss causative factors, preventative measures, screening tests and treatment options to increase awareness of the disease.
