Our acute services provide short-term crisis care for children and adolescents ages six to 17 whose psychiatric difficulties require emergency intervention by a team of mental health professionals.
These services are appropriate for children and adolescents with a recent history of being a threat to themselves, others or property; or have impaired functioning due to mental health or substance abuse problems.
We provide crisis acute care that targets acute symptoms in order to transition to a lower level of care in the community.
