Colon Cancer

Colorectal/GI cancer navigator

The Riverside Patient Navigation Program helps guide patients and their families through the health care system in general and the colorectal and gastrointestinal cancer experience in particular. The navigator helps cancer patients and their loved ones through diagnosis, treatment and cancer survival.

Amy Grant, RN, OCN, Riverside's Navigator for Colorectal and Gastrointestinal Cancers, can help you understand your diagnosis, care plan and medications. She can help make communication between you and the doctors caring for you easier and more effective as well as provide individual support and education.

Along with assistance related directly to cancer care, Ms. Grant can also help with concerns about insurance, transportation and a variety of support services. Riverside's Patient Navigation Program is available to you at no cost. For more information, please call Amy Grant at 757-534-5195.
