Meet our Team
Our cancer care specialists include physicians who are fellowship trained and board-certified in medical oncology and hematology. This highly skilled team works collaboratively with certified nurse practitioners, oncology-certified registered nurses, an oncology dietician, massage therapist, social worker and a supportive front office team. Together they provide each patient personalized and supportive care.
Dr. Agbisit has a special interest in treating lung, colon, esophageal and hepatobiliary cancers. He supports and guides patients throughout their cancer journeys, taking time to listen and answer any questions his patients have.
Dr. Alevizakos treats his patients and their loved ones in the manner he would want his own family treated, and he takes the time to make sure patients understand their disease and plan of care.
Dr. Sadagopan has a special interest in treating lung, colon, esophageal and hepatobiliary cancers. .
Dr. Salmon finds the field equally as challenging as it is rewarding. She utilizes a holistic approach to treat not only the disease, but also the patient as a whole. With special interests in breast and gastrointestinal cancers, she strives to incorporate symptom management, mental well-being and spiritual support into the treatment plan for every patient.
Dr. Sheets takes time with each patient to ensure they understand their disease and are comfortable with their proposed treatment options. She collaborates with other members of the patient’s care team and crafts individualized treatment plans personalized to their unique needs.
Dr. Skorupa chose her medical specialties because of the close relationships she is able to develop with patients due to the frequency of care needed. With honesty as one of her most prominent core values, she is committed to giving her patients the care and concern they deserve.
Elyse has cared for patients in the region for more than eight years. Before joining Riverside, she treated spine surgery patients as a family nurse practitioner. As an RN, she also specialized in caring for patients before, during and after surgeries, including in the ICU.
Rebekah takes pride in caring for the whole patient, supporting both their physical and mental well-being. She values the strength it takes to face a disease like cancer and appreciates the opportunity to care for patients during a difficult time.
Erin chose oncology because the specialty has always been close to her heart. She has a passion for providing care to those affected by cancer and her philosophy is to provide compassionate, patient-centered care utilizing evidence-based practices.
