On staff we have licensed and certified opticians with years of education, hands on experience and pride in their industry. This shows through with every patient we service. With over a hundred years of combined optical experience, all of our opticians are skilled in the selection of eyewear for function and fashion.
Whether you need glasses full time or only for close work, the Oyster Point Optical Shop has a large selection of stylish, durable frames within all price ranges. We feature the highest quality and latest lens technology, including the thinnest and lightest 1.74 high index, specialized computer glasses and the most advanced progressive lenses. We offer the most durable lens treatments for anti-reflective/scratch resistant coatings such as Crizal products and TD2 (tough, durable, two-sided) both guaranteed against scratches for two years.
With many specialty Ophthalmologists and Optometrists on staff, our opticians are trained and experienced to take care of those patients unique needs including glasses with prism correction, high prescriptions and those with low vision needs. Providing care for the patients of a Pediatric Ophthalmologist, our opticians work with an increasing number of children as young as only a few months old. This allows us to offer a large selection of children's glasses, some available with a two-year warranty of both frames and lenses. We accept eyeglass prescriptions from doctors outside of our practice. We have a finishing lab located on the premise to accommodate most mild prescriptions in accordance with your insurance companies guidelines.
Many insurance plans are accepted in the optical shop. With our own medical billing specialist on staff we are able to answer your insurance questions and file your insurance claims.

Hours of Operation:
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. for purchasing new eyewear/ after 4 p.m. appointment only.
- Thursday 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. for purchasing new eyewear.
- Orders accepted 8:30 a.m. - 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.
- Monday - Friday closed noon - 1 p.m. for lunch.
- Open until 5 p.m. Monday - Friday for picking up orders that have been placed and adjustments/repairs.
