Lifelong Health

If there’s any aspect of the care and personalized attention offered by Riverside that most embody the Riverside mission – to care for others as we would care for those we love — it’s hospice and palliative care.

What care do I need?

Both Hospice and Palliative Care offer support to those suffering from complex illnesses but it can be tough to tell what level of care you might need.

The palliative care team, also known as the quality-of-life team, offers supportive care for those living with a serious, complex illness. Palliative care can be provided at any stage of the illness and at the same time as curative treatments.

The Hospice Care team provides care for anyone who has a life-limiting illness who wants to focus on quality of life rather than on curative measures. Riverside provides a compassionate, holistic approach to end-of-life needs – emotional, social, spiritual and physical.
