When you're dieting, pay attention to what you drink, too. For instance, although juice and milk have important nutrients, they contain a lot of calories. Drink no more than 4 ounces of juice a day. To help cut calories, switch to fat-free milk and keep it to 16 to 24 ounces a day. Of course, water is still the best choice when it comes to satisfying thirst.
