In-Person Expectant Parents Tour

Riverside is proud to offer in-person Expectant Parent Tours two Tuesday evenings and one Saturday morning each month. During the tour, parents-to-be can preview the birthing suites and postpartum rooms in our Women and Infant Care Unit at Riverside Regional Medical Center. On the tour, you will have the opportunity to have your questions answered regarding having your baby at Riverside.
 
Attendance is limited to the expectant mother and 1 additional person, therefore ONLY the expectant mother needs to register for this tour. Registration will close once we have reached capacity.

Cerebral Aneurysms: Detection, Treatment, and Stroke Prevention

Join us at our Doc Is In Speaker Series!

Our May topic will be Cerebral Aneurysms: Detection, Treatment, and Stroke Prevention
Presented by Renato Andre Castro de Oliveira, M.D.
Fellowship-trained, Board-certified Vascular Neurologist

This presentation will provide an overview of cerebral aneurysms, including how they are detected through modern imaging and clinical evaluation. It will explore common risk factors associated with aneurysm development and rupture, such as hypertension, smoking, genetic predisposition, and aneurysm size and location. Participants will gain insight into current management and treatment options, as well as the role early recognition and timely, appropriate care play in reducing the risk of hemorrhagic stroke. The session will also emphasize the value of evidence-based decision-making, prevention strategies, and coordinated care in promoting optimal patient outcomes.
