Virtual Postpartum Health & Baby Care: Your Guide to the 4th Trimester

The Fourth Trimester, also known as the postpartum period, is a time of intense change in your baby, your body and your lifestyle.  Learn more about the adjustments you and your little one will experience in the weeks after delivery.

In this virtual class, your instructor will share examples of how to care for yourself and your baby, along with reassurance that the changes and ups and downs experienced in the 4th trimester are normal and to be expected.

Heart Disease 101: Prevention, Early Symptoms, Emergencies & Treatment Options

Join us for a Heart Month Talk!

Heart disease remains the leading cause of death in the United States, and more people are being diagnosed with risk factors like high blood pressure that can increase the likelihood of heart-related problems. 
 
In this community-focused talk, A. Hussain Azizi, M.D., an interventional cardiologist with Riverside Cardiology Specialists, will break down the complicated topic of heart disease, including risk factors and early signs of a problem as well as symptoms of cardiovascular emergencies. He will also address different approaches to treating heart disease and related conditions. 
 
Attendees will gain a better understanding of what cardiovascular disease is, early warning signs you should speak with your doctor about, emergency symptoms that need immediate treatment and the different types of treatment options available.

Virtual Expectant Parents Hospital Tours

Riverside is proud to offer a virtual Expectant Parents Hospital Tours one Tuesday evening each month from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m.
 
During the tour, you will have the opportunity to have your questions answered regarding having your baby at Riverside. Parents-to-be can preview the birthing suites, postpartum rooms, and NICU at Riverside Regional Medical Center from the safety of their home.
