Virtual Expectant Parent Tours

Riverside is proud to offer a virtual Expectant Parent Tour one Tuesday evening each month from 7:00 - 8:30 pm.

During the tour, you will have the opportunity to have your questions answered regarding having your baby at Riverside. Parents-to-be can preview the birthing suites, postpartum rooms, and NICU at Riverside Regional Medical Center from the safety of their home.

Registration is required and you can do so by clicking the yellow Register Now button to the right.

Be sure to include your email address. As the tour appointment approaches, you will receive an email with information on how to join the tour virtually.

Virtual Childbirth Preparation Classes

Riverside is proud to offer virtual Childbirth Preparation Classes. Mom-to-be and her partner or support person can explore the many choices available to make their birth experience personal and positive.

This course includes comprehensive information on pregnancy, labor, and birth, as well as relaxation and breathing techniques, all from the safety of your home.

As the date for the new session approaches, you will receive an email with instructions on how to join virtually. This class is a series of four sessions offered on consecutive Monday evenings for two hours from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

The March series dates are 3/9, 3/16, 3/23 and 3/30.

Colorectal cancer is one of the most preventable cancers through regular, on time screening, and it’s also very treatable when detected early. Yet, it’s now the leading cause of cancer related deaths in adults under age 50. Join Dr. Jamila Wynter, a fellowship-trained, board-certified gastroenterologist, for a lifesaving conversation about early detection, prevention and what you can do to reduce your risk of developing colorectal cancer.
 
You’ll learn when to begin screening, which methods are right for you and how to recognize key risk factors and warning signs.
