Riverside Health's 17th Annual Stroke Symposium
Thank you for your interest in Riverside Health's 17th Annual Stroke Symposium which will be held on Friday, May 1, 2026 at the Newport News Marriott at City Center. Breakfast will be from 6:30 - 7:30 a.m.
Please join us for a day focused on the latest advances in caring for stroke patients.

Virtual Childbirth Preparation Classes
Riverside is proud to offer virtual Childbirth Preparation Classes. Mom-to-be and her partner or support person can explore the many choices available to make their birth experience personal and positive.
This course includes comprehensive information on pregnancy, labor, and birth, as well as relaxation and breathing techniques, all from the safety of your home.

As the date for the new session approaches, you will receive an email with instructions on how to join virtually. This class is a series of four sessions offered on consecutive Monday evenings for two hours from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
The May series dates are 5/4, 5/11, 5/18 and Thursday 5/28.

Looking to give your brain a healthy workout? Join us for Brain Builders, an interactive workshop designed to help you strengthen memory, improve focus, and enhance communication skills through practical, research-informed exercises.
Led by Riverside Speech Therapists Lisa Edwards and Tayler Stanley Crowley, this session will guide participants through engaging activities and strategies that can be applied in everyday life. Whether you want to stay mentally sharp, build confidence in communication, or simply challenge your brain in new ways, this workshop offers valuable tools in a supportive and encouraging environment.
