Breastfeeding is natural, but there are skills to be learned that can help promote successful breastfeeding.
 
In this two-hour virtual educational class, our lactation consultant will help familiarize expectant parents with the knowledge and skills they need to get breastfeeding off to a great start.

Riverside Health's Multiple Sclerosis Symposium

Join us for an informative and engaging Multiple Sclerosis Symposium on Saturday, June 6th.
 
Led by Dr. Kermit Lloyd, Medical Director of Riverside Health’s Multiple Sclerosis Program, this event will bring together a multidisciplinary team of experts to share the latest insights in MS care. Attendees will hear from neurologists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other specialists dedicated to improving quality of life for individuals living with MS.
 
The symposium will also feature local and national organizations, including the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, offering valuable resources, support, and opportunities to connect.

Purple Flower Program, Awards Presentation

Join Riverside Health for a special awards program honoring the Purple Flower Program, recipient of the Commonwealth Council on Aging’s Best Practices Award. 

The Purple Flower Program, based at Riverside Health’s Martha W. Goodson Center, is a person-centered initiative focused on increasing dementia awareness and strengthening the ability of clinical teams to support individuals living with dementia and their caregivers in acute care settings.

This meaningful event will bring together community members, healthcare professionals, and supporters to celebrate innovation and excellence in aging services. Guests will have the opportunity to learn more about the program’s impact and its role in enhancing compassionate, dementia-informed care.
