In-Person Understanding Birth Class

This class allows moms-to-be and their partner or support person to explore the many choices available to make their birth experience personal and positive. The course includes comprehensive information on pregnancy, labor and birth, as well as relaxation and breathing techniques.

This class is being offered the 3rd Thursday of each month from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. and one Saturday morning a month from 9:30 am – 12:30 pm.
 
Registration is required.  Attendance is limited to the expectant mother and 1 additional person, therefore ONLY the expectant mother needs to register. Registration will close once the class has reached capacity.
 
To register click the yellow 'Register Now' button to the right and complete the form. Please be sure to provide your email address. Once the form is completed, click the yellow 'NEXT' button to submit your registration.  
 
As the class date approaches, you will receive a reminder email with additional information about the class.
 
Your instructor will meet you in the Tower Lobby of Riverside Regional Medical Center to take you to the classroom.

Mike Verano, LPC, LMFT, CEAP, CCISM, BC-TMH, CCTP, CFRC
Mike Verano is a highly experienced licensed therapist with over 30 years in the mental health field. A nationally recognized speaker, he holds multiple certifications including trauma, tele-mental health, and critical incident stress management. Mike has published extensively in national and international outlets, contributes regularly to Psychology Today and CURE Magazine, and is the author of several books focused on stress, mindfulness, and cancer survivorship.
