Mrs. White completed her BSN from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University in Tallahassee, Florida. She received an MSN in Nursing Education from Jacksonville University in Jacksonville, Florida and received an Adult Nurse Practitioner certification from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida. She has specialized training in Adult Medicine and Pain Management.

Mrs. White was born and raised in Florida. She relocated to Virginia to be with her husband who was stationed here by the United States Navy. After his retirement, they decided to make Hampton Roads their home. They have one daughter.

She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority.
