Ophthalmology

Dr. Anderson earned his medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2016 and completed an ophthalmology residency at the University of Kentucky in 2020. He is eligible for board certification by the American Board of Ophthalmology.

Always fascinated by the science of sight, Dr. Anderson is passionate about employing the latest tools and techniques to help fight eye disease. He loves what he does and particularly delights in the opportunity to restore sight to those who have lost it.

Dr. Anderson specializes in treating cataracts and glaucoma through minimally invasive surgery and other techniques, as well as managing dry eye, macular degeneration, eyelid disease and diabetic retinopathy. He enjoys teaching his patients about their eyes and helping them make informed decisions that are conservative whenever possible.

Dr. Anderson grew up in Utah and Arizona but after moving to Virginia for medical school, he fell in love with the Tidewater region and its people. He and his wife happily decided to raise their four children here. Dr. Anderson’s favorite hobbies include flying, fishing, skiing and hiking.
