About Travis Jay Dozier, PA-C

Travis earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of William & Mary in 2005. In 2017, he earned a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Travis is board-certified as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

Travis has always enjoyed the anatomy and physiology of the complex GI tract and its ties to his patients’ quality of life and overall systemic health. As a gastroenterology Physician Assistant, he strives to treat his patients the way he likes to be treated, with an easygoing approach that encourages open communication in a comfortable environment. Travis considers it an incredible responsibility to be able to treat members of his community.

Born and raised in Norfolk, Travis grew up sailing in the Chesapeake Bay and Hampton Roads harbor. He still loves to be on the water and holds a U.S. Coast Guard Captain’s License. In addition, Travis is a musician who plays the drums, guitar and piano. He, his wife (a veterinarian) and their son enjoy the history, beauty and variety of Hampton Roads.
