About Sandria T. Vernon, MD

Sandria (Dria) T. Vernon, M.D., earned her medical degree from Saint Louis University School of Medicine and a public health degree from Saint Louis University College of Public Health and Social Justice. She has earned multiple certifications from the American Heart Association and is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.

Dr. Vernon believes health and wellness come from meeting the needs of the mind, body and soul. She chose family medicine because it allows her to focus on the whole patient and help them prevent disease and maintain their health rather than just treating illnesses. She encourages her patients to play an active role in making decisions about their health.

Dr. Vernon was born in North Central Florida and raised in Denver, Colorado. She is a craft enthusiast and enjoys adventures in cooking. She’s also an avid fan of Marvel comics and movies.
