Samuel J. Dobbs, M.D., is a family medicine doctor specializing in lifestyle medicine, mental health, diabetes, high blood pressure and other chronic conditions. He values building genuine, long-term relationships with his patients and providing comprehensive, integrative care.
Dr. Dobbs earned a Bachelor of Science in Anthropology from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. He earned a graduate certificate in preclinical science and his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies.
Outside of work, Dr. Dobbs stays active by camping, hiking and long-distance running. He enjoys bluegrass music and sailing. He appreciates the region’s rich history and culture, as well as its beautiful landscapes.
