Dr. Dobbs earned a Bachelor of Science in Anthropology from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. He earned a graduate certificate in preclinical science and his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies. 

Outside of work, Dr. Dobbs stays active by camping, hiking and long-distance running. He enjoys bluegrass music and sailing. He appreciates the region’s rich history and culture, as well as its beautiful landscapes.

Dr Dobbs is extremely professional, helpful and a very good listener. He addresses all my concerns and always goes above and beyond. I am retired Navy and have had many many doctors in my life time. Dr Dobbs is one of the best I have had!

My doctor was ready and willing to listen, looked at all the things I had questions about, and even when I had a question after he signed off, he logged back in and made sure I was well-informed! He is very easy to talk to and really feels like he cares and wants to help! He was also very good with my kid, even though she was all over the place, being a kid.

During the exam, I asked Dr. Dobbs at least 2 times to look at my history. He never did. Dr. Dobbs said he could not provide prescription without blood work and would call after the result come out. Never called. [...]
