Dr. Winfield specializes in physiatry and pain management as well as non-surgical approaches to osteoarthritis. His practice is concerned with evaluating and treating impairments caused by musculoskeletal conditions. Dr. Winfield uses EMG testing and ultrasound-guided joint and tendon injections as well as spinal interventional procedures.

Dr. Winfield graduated from the University of Virginia School of Medicine. He completed his residency at Emory University in Atlanta, GA and is board certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

I like DrWinfield very much and he has really helped my back pain.My only complaint or suggestion would be he take a minute prior to the surgery and look you in the face and say hello. I'm on my stomach when he gets to the room and I never see him. We talk, but it would be nice if he took a second to say hello.

All staff assisting Dr Winfield were great. And loved Dr. Winfield, explained everything very clearly, possible side effects, and answered any questions my wife or myself had and had a sense of humor. Very professional as well as cordial.
