About Rafic H. Zaitoun, MD

Dr. Zaitoun completed his undergraduate degree at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond. Subsequently, he completed his medical degree, internship, residency, and fellowship in cardiovascular diseases at the Medical College of Virginia. He completed an interventional cardiovascular fellowship at St. Luke's Medical Center in Milwaukee, WI.

Dr. Zaitoun is Board Certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular diseases. He has been practicing cardiology since 1990. Dr. Zaitoun's current practice includes non-invasive, invasive, and interventional cardiology, including peripheral interventions.

I continue to be impressed with this Doctor who has been my cardiologist for over 8 years. When our conversations started it was VERY OBVIOUS that he had thoroughly reviewed my history with him. He exhibits a very caring attitude and I know he has my best interests in mind. He is a very caring and encouraging person. I am very happy having him as part of my healthcare team.

All elements of my appointment were very well. Dr. Zaitoun did his homework and knew a lot of my health records. He asked me questions, which I expected about my history. He showed concerns about my health and spoke about some things, but didn't harp on them. I know that he is concerned about my health. Very pleasant appointment.
