About Rafic H. Zaitoun, MD

Dr. Zaitoun completed his undergraduate degree at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond. Subsequently, he completed his medical degree, internship, residency, and fellowship in cardiovascular diseases at the Medical College of Virginia. He completed an interventional cardiovascular fellowship at St. Luke's Medical Center in Milwaukee, WI.

Dr. Zaitoun is Board Certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular diseases. He has been practicing cardiology since 1990. Dr. Zaitoun's current practice includes non-invasive, invasive, and interventional cardiology, including peripheral interventions.

Dr R. Zaitoun was a breath of fresh air! I usually have high anxiety with Dr's appointments. Dr. Zaitoun disposition made it easy for me to communicate by asking him questions and telling him how I felt. I was a little nervous in the beginning. However, him seeming to care holistically about my well being made me feel at ease.
