About Megan Mears Campbell, FNP

Megan Campbell, FNP, is a family nurse practitioner specializing in wellness, weight management, diabetes and high blood pressure. She enjoys getting to know patients and providing care across the lifespan to improve their overall health and prevent chronic disease.   

Megan earned a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing in Chicago, Illinois. She completed a Master of Science in nursing with a specialization in family nurse practitioner from South University in Savannah, Georgia.   

Megan takes pride in providing holistic care and incorporating her patient’s beliefs. She appreciates the evolving nature of health care and values continuing education to learn the best new practices and latest medical advancements.   

Born and raised on Virginia’s Eastern Shore, Megan is dedicated to caring for the community where she grew up. When she’s not at work, she enjoys spending quality time with her family outside, hiking and camping.

Megan Campbell was awesome. This is the best medical experience I have had in a long time. From the very first moment when she came in the room smiling, I felt comfortable. We discussed my care and she listened to me and agreed to find out about service provided by the Riverside Hospital system. I truly appreciated her care and friendly and approachable demeanor. I liked her so much that I'm switching my primary care to her.

Megan is very attentive and listens to everything I told her. I felt that I had her full attention and she took the time to make sure all of my concerns were addressed. She put together a plan to address my concerns. Did not feel rushed. When reading my after visit summary on MyChart, I was very impressed on all of the minor details that she remembered during our conversation. I feel that Megan is an excellent care provider.
