About Mark Ewing Chisam, MD

After earning his medical degree from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, Dr. Chisam completed his residency at the National CancerInstitute. He is board certified by the American Board of Radiology with certification in the subspecialty of radiation oncology.

Intrigued by the biology and physics of radiation therapy to fight cancer, Dr. Chisam is also a recent cancer survivor himself, making him especially empathetic towards his patients. He specializes in image-guided radiation therapy, intensity-modulated radiation therapy for the head and neck, and treatments for skin, breast and prostate cancers.

Originally from Los Angeles, Dr. Chisam is a 24-year veteran of the U.S. Navy and was also trained as a nuclear engineer prior to his medical career. He is currently pursuing a master's degree in theology. Dr. Chisam and his wife have four adult children.
