About Marie-Ange Alexandre, MD

Marie-Ange Alexandre, M.D., is an internal medicine physician who provides primary care for adults. Dr. Alexandre brings more than a decade of experience caring for patients in primary care, urgent care and community health settings. Her clinical interests include women's health, emergency care and minor surgical procedures. 

Dr. Alexandre earned her medical degree from the Latin American School of Medicine in Havana, Cuba, before earning her Master of Science in Public Health from the Universidad Carlos III of Madrid in Spain. She completed a residency in family medicine and community health at the University Hospital of Guadalajara in Spain, followed by an additional residency in internal medicine at Boston Medical Center. 

In the clinic, she helps patients prevent illness, manage chronic (long-term) conditions and improve their overall health. Dr. Alexandre values the opportunity to build lasting relationships while helping patients navigate complex medical conditions. Before making recommendations, she takes the time to understand each person’s goals and preferences, always emphasizing safety, education and shared decision-making. 

Fluent in English, Spanish, Haitian Creole and French, Dr. Alexandre has a strong dedication to serving multicultural communities. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, practicing CrossFit, spending time with family and friends, and coaching women to help them reach their full potential.
