About Lisa Marie Knust, MD

 

Dr. Knust earned her medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University’s Medical College of Virginia in 2003. In 2006, she completed residency training with Riverside Family Medicine in affiliation with VCU. Dr. Knust is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.

As an experienced family medicine physician, Dr. Knust enjoys being able to care for people throughout the age spectrum and to consider the whole person when treating patients. She approaches her practice with the goal of working together with her patients to improve their health.

Originally from upstate New York, Dr. Knust enjoys our area’s warm weather and friendly people. She is a College of William & Mary alumna who enjoys traveling, running and reading.

I have been a patient of Dr. Knust ever since she opened up her practice in Carrollton. I had been looking for a good "Female" Primary Care Doctor. In all my years this is the best practice ever based on previous experiences. She gets to the root of the problem and has commonsense solutions.
