About Lindsay Michelle Otis, FNP

After receiving a Bachelor of Science in biology from Christopher Newport University, Lindsay graduated from the Riverside School of Health Careers as a Registered Nurse in 2009. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2013, and a Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University in 2018. Lindsay is board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Lindsay pursued a career in health care because she enjoys helping others. Today, as an orthopedics provider, she thoroughly enjoys working with patients to get their mobility and lifestyle back. Hardworking and friendly, Lindsay connects with her patients by extending respect and honesty.

A Virginia native from Fairfax, Lindsay considers Hampton Roads a great place to live and raise a family. She volunteers in the community as an EMT.

Lindsay Otis is a wonderful practitioner. She is very knowledgeable and listened to me very carefully. We initially communicated via messaging on MyChart and her responses to my questions and concerns were both thoughtful and extremely in depth and complete. In all seriousness, I have never encountered a physician that had the ability to engage with such timely and complete communication. Lindsay was just as thoughtful and caring in my office visit too. Riverside management should hold Lindsay in high regard and consider her as their finest representative of a top medical provider.

Lindsay is always a pleasure to work with for my care visit. She is thorough, caring, and makes me feel valued as her patient. I appreciated her knowledge of my entire health picture, and not just focused on my sleep medicine visit.
