About Lindsay Michelle Otis, FNP

After receiving a Bachelor of Science in biology from Christopher Newport University, Lindsay graduated from the Riverside School of Health Careers as a Registered Nurse in 2009. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2013, and a Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University in 2018. Lindsay is board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Lindsay pursued a career in health care because she enjoys helping others. Today, as an orthopedics provider, she thoroughly enjoys working with patients to get their mobility and lifestyle back. Hardworking and friendly, Lindsay connects with her patients by extending respect and honesty.

A Virginia native from Fairfax, Lindsay considers Hampton Roads a great place to live and raise a family. She volunteers in the community as an EMT.

Lindsay Otis listened carefully to my concerns. She answered all my questions and made sure I understood what she was saying. She is very pleasant and didn't make me feel rushed at all. I feel very comfortable talking to her about any of my health issues. I would recommend her to hang out of my friends.

Give Lindsay a raise! She's immensely patient (because old people can be chatty ), kind and well-informed. She has gone above and beyond for my husband and me (both patients), answering all our questions (in person and In the portal) thoroughly. Both we and Riverside are lucky to have her as a PA. Again, give Lindsay a raise (she didn't ask me to say that ).
