About Kayla Nicole Saunders, FNP

Kayla N. Saunders, FNP, is a family nurse practitioner who provides evidence-based care for her patients. She diagnoses and treats acute and chronic conditions, such as high blood pressure, obesity and diabetes, and offers annual physicals and wellness exams. 

Kayla earned a Bachelor of Science in biology from Chowan University in Murfreesboro, North Carolina. She then earned a Bachelor of Science in nursing and a Master of Science in nursing from Walden University in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She is certified as a family nurse practitioner by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. 

Kayla values openness and honesty in the patient-provider relationship. She partners with each patient to help them achieve better health and enjoy life to the fullest. 

When she is not at work, Kayla enjoys spending time with her husband and children. She appreciates the closeness of the community and small-town feel.
