About Jennifer Treacy, FNP

Jennifer earned a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Hampton University in 1997 and in 2020, after two decades as a registered nurse, a Master of Science in nursing from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. She is board-certified as a family nurse practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

A wealth of focused experience in women’s health enriches Jennifer’s ability to provide her patients with quality, holistic care. She approaches her practice with a belief that all patients are unique, beautiful people who deserve the best care she can give. She also possesses a love for research and a tenacity to find answers to difficult questions.

Jennifer’s areas of interest include well-woman exams, prenatal and postpartum care, breastfeeding support and the management of postpartum depression, menopause, hypertension and diabetes, in addition to sexually transmitted infection prevention, screening and treatment. She is passionate about the integral role of diet and exercise in health and wellness.

Originally from Massachusetts, Jennifer has lived all over the country throughout her husband’s career as a U.S. Navy pilot. In 2004, the Treacy family settled on Virginia’s Middle Peninsula, where they love living on the water yet having access to the mountains. A mother of three adult children, Jennifer enjoys running, weightlifting, boating, gardening and traveling.
