About Helen Goggans Arnold, DO

Helen G. Arnold, D.O., is a family medicine physician committed to providing excellent patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment. She has extensive experience evaluating and managing acute illnesses and injuries, while utilizing diagnostic evaluation and point-of-care testing and imaging when appropriate. 

Dr. Arnold earned a Bachelor of Science in biomedical sciences from Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama. She completed a Doctor of Osteopathy degree from the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg and finished the Riverside Family Medicine Residency Program in Newport News. She is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and the American Board of Obesity Medicine. 

Outside of work, Dr. Arnold enjoys home improvement projects, water-based activities and spending time with her family. She loves the melting-pot community, mild climate and access to water in coastal Virginia.
