About Heather Shepard White, FNP

Board-certified family nurse practitioner Heather S. White specializes in otology, rhinology and sinus conditions. After attending Riverside School of Health Careers and earning a diploma in Registered Nursing, Heather earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Walden University. She also earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University while working as a surgical ear, nose and throat (ENT) specialty nurse.

Heather chose the ENT specialty because she has a passion for all aspects of facial anatomy and conditions of the underlying facial structure. Keeping in mind that her treatment plans have a great impact on patients’ day-to-day lives, she feels it is her duty to promote a positive healthcare environment that is therapeutic for all her patients and their families. She believes in building strong, respectful provider-patient relationships and gains great satisfaction from improving the overall health and wellbeing of her patients.

A native of Chesapeake, Heather enjoys the local beaches, proximity to the blue ridge mountains and the cultural diversity of Hampton Roads. She is married with four children and enjoys spending time with her family, baking and visiting amusement parks.
