About Gretchen Arnold, PA-C

Gretchen earned her Master of Physician Assistant degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School. She also holds a master’s degree in biology from the University of Virginia, as well as a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Gretchen is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

The opportunity to care for patients throughout inpatient, outpatient and surgical settings is an aspect of urology that Gretchen enjoys, in addition to the specialty’s role in research and technology to improve patient outcomes.

As a physician assistant, Gretchen previously practiced interventional pain management before transitioning to urology. While her work focuses on very specific problems, Gretchen’s medical philosophy is to always keep the patient’s overall health in mind. She looks forward to being part of each new patient’s health care team.

Gretchen enjoys living in the Hampton Roads area. She likes to spend time with family and friends, as well as outdoor recreation.
