About Fnu Vikram, MD

Dr. Vikram is a fellowship-trained, board-certified cardiologist with additional training and certification in nuclear cardiology and echocardiography. With special interests in the treatment of hypertension, coronary artery disease and valvular disease, and in the prevention of heart diseases, Dr. Vikram is skilled in procedures including transthoracic echocardiogram, transesophageal echocardiogram, exercise treadmill stress testing, stress echocardiogram, EKG and nuclear stress testing.

Dr. Vikram views cardiology as a specialty where knowledge meets practice, appreciating its focus on evidence-based medicine. He knows how important it is to understand the cardiovascular disease process in order to treat it appropriately. Dr. Vikram approaches his work with a desire to educate his patients about their health and facilitate shared decision-making so that patients can be an integral part of their care.

After earning his medical degree from Chandka Medical College in Pakistan, Dr. Vikram moved to the U.S. for an internal medicine residency at Advent Health in Florida, which he completed in 2016. He then completed a cardiology fellowship at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Pennsylvania in 2019. Dr. Vikram is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology. He is also certified in adult echocardiography by the American Society of Echocardiography.

Originally from Pakistan, Dr. Vikram enjoys the abundance of nature in our area, along with amazing weather and the ability to stay active year-round. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends and listening to good music. Dr. Vikram and his wife have one daughter.
