About David Allan Scott, MD

 

 Dr. David Scott specializes in the non-operative care of bone, joint and spine conditions, with special interest in golf and running medicine. As a lifelong athlete, Dr. Scott has always found it rewarding to help his patients regain physical function. He believes the best results occur when patients are educated about their medical issues and become active participants in their own care. 

Dr. Scott earned his medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School in 2005. He completed his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Carolinas Rehabilitation Hospital in Charlotte, North Carolina, followed by a sports medicine fellowship at Steadman Hawkins Orthopedic Clinic of the Carolinas in Greenville, South Carolina. Dr. Scott is board-certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

Dr. Scott enjoys Hampton Roads for its abundance of outdoor activities. Outside of work, his interests include golf, running and spending time with family.
