About Cengiz Inal, MD

Dr. Inal earned his medical degree from Hacettepe University in Turkey in 2007. After seeing several of his relatives suffer with cancer, Dr. Inal was inspired to care for cancer patients as a medical oncologist. He understands how difficult the process can be, both for patients and their families. Recognizing that each individual is unique, Dr. Inal believes in tailoring and extensively discussing treatment options with his patients, along with involving them in the decision-making process.

Dr. Inal’s expertise encompasses general oncology and hematology, with special interests in thoracic oncology, chronic leukemias, benign hematology, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, chemotherapy, clinical research and clinical trials. He strongly believes that every cancer patient deserves the best available options, and patient satisfaction is his primary goal.

Originally from Turkey, Dr. Inal moved to the United States in 2008. He is fond of the restaurants, historical sites, fishing and beaches found in Hampton Roads. Dr. Inal and his wife, a nephrologist, feel blessed to have four sons.
