Cariana Clanton, D.O., is a family medicine physician specializing in preventive medicine, adolescent health, diabetes, hypertension, obesity and family planning.
Dr. Clanton earned a Bachelor of Science in biology from Norfolk State University in Norfolk. She then completed a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, Virginia. Dr. Clanton completed a family medicine residency at Sovah Health in Danville, Virginia. She is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians.
Dr. Clanton is deeply committed to preventing chronic disease and promoting good health. She approaches her work in health care with kindness and vibrant energy and is genuinely excited to take care of her patients and meet their needs.
A native of Suffolk, Virginia, Dr. Clanton grew up and completed her education here. She appreciates the variety of activities available in Hampton Roads. When she’s not at work, Dr. Clanton enjoys traveling and learning new languages.
