About Brian Ji Hoon Kim, DO

Brian Ji Hoon Kim, D.O., is a family medicine physician who provides treatment for muscle and joint concerns, preventive care and ongoing support for chronic conditions. He uses osteopathic manipulation to help his patients feel and move better. Dr. Kim enjoys caring for entire families and values building strong relationships with each patient. 

Dr. Kim earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond. He completed a master’s degree in biomedical sciences at Liberty University in Lynchburg, followed by a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg. Dr. Kim completed an internship and residency at Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News. He is board certified by the American Osteopathic Association and the American Board of Family Medicine. 

Committed to patient education, Dr. Kim works closely with individuals and families to ensure they understand all their options and create a care plan that aligns with their personal goals.   

Outside the clinic, Dr. Kim enjoys the water and rich history of the Hampton Roads region. When he’s not working, he spends time with his family and dog.
