About Andres Peralta, FNP

Andres Peralta, FNP-C, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner specializing in urology, kidney stones, urinary tract infections (UTI), hematuria and erectile dysfunction.  

Andres earned a Bachelor of Science in nursing from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia. He completed a Master of Science in nursing with a family nurse practitioner focus from Old Dominion University in Norfolk. He is board certified as a family nurse practitioner by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.   

Andres values developing relationships with patients and helping them achieve their best health. As a bilingual healthcare provider, he volunteered as a primary care provider translation aid, supporting patients during their visits by translating Spanish and English.  

Originally from Argentina, Andres enjoys the outdoor activities offered by the coastal Virginia area. When not at work, he hikes, plays soccer and spends time with family.

Mr Peralta made himself thoroughly familiar with my history, tests and meds, and knowledgeably dealt with all my fairly involved questions in a fairly complex matrix of concerns; providing frank and obviously-knowledgeable counsel with regard to my urological surgical options. Also kindly provided counsel and a prescription for ED treatments which may help a great deal in my quality if life, at eighty.

My provider, what can I say but excellence, excellence exceeded my expectations. Listen to me answer questions that I had took personal time to clarify and make everything simple for me to understand and no I am very pleased to have him. He's an excellent provider I'm a veteran that normally goes to the VA but I have asked VA to allow me to continue seeing him doing all of my treatment now and in the future shows great compassion for his patience.
