Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital (Eastern Shore of Virginia)
The original hospital building opened in August of 1928 in Nassawadox. It was replaced with a new hospital in 1971. In February 2017, a new Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital opened in a new location in Onancock and the Nassawadox hospital closed. The Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital team cares for medical and surgical patients, emergency department patients, critical care conditions, newborns and behavioral health patients.
