About Paul Joseph Micale, MD

Dr. Micale received his undergraduate degree from Florida State University and his medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta. He completed an internship and residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, and a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Micale is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine with certification in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology.

With 30 years of experience as a cardiologist, Dr. Micale specializes in interventional cardiology, enjoying its complexity as well as the opportunity to interact and care for patients. He approaches his medical practice with a commitment to be thorough, comprehensive, compassionate and efficient, resulting in top-notch care that his patients can depend on.

Originally from New York, Dr. Micale finds the Tidewater area to be a wonderful place to raise a family. He and his wife have two young sons. Dr. Micale’s favorite hobbies are cooking, traveling and skiing.
