About Meredith Renae Good, DO

Board certified in both internal medicine and pediatrics, Dr. Good joined Riverside White Stone Family Practice with more than 15 years of experience in a wide range of healthcare roles — from researcher to chief resident to osteopathic physician. She completed a dual pediatric and internal medicine residency at Hurley Medical Center in Flint, Michigan, after earning a Doctor of Osteopathic Studies at Michigan State University. She holds two master’s degrees, one in public health and the other in international studies.

During graduate school, Dr. Good interned at the Center for Emerging Infectious Diseases in Iowa City and the MiraMed Institute in Moscow, Russia. Dr. Good is fluent in the Russian language and culture, and during her time in Moscow, she advocated for trafficking victims by conducting health research and educating policymakers. With an aptitude for research and advancing healthcare in rural communities, she has also assisted with multiple clinical trials and studies.

Dr. Good previously practiced at Heathsville Family Practice and Rappahannock General Hospital in Kilmarnock before joining White Stone. Her multifaceted treatment approach includes both traditional medical treatments and osteopathic manual manipulation (OMM) for conditions like headaches and edema. She is also skilled in joint injections, trigger point injections and therapy and a range of office procedures for adults and children.

She considers it a privilege to be part of each patient’s health care journey and encourages their input, feedback and active participation in the process. “We are all human, and by helping each other, we become a better team with one goal — to optimize health and healing,” she says.

Originally from a small town in Iowa, Dr. Good thoroughly appreciates Virginia’s warm weather, water and people. She adores her two rescue dogs, who have been with her since her second year of medical school, and can frequently be found outside walking them (although her neighbors might tell you that it’s the other way around). She also enjoys kayaking, traveling, reading and any opportunity to learn something new.
