About Christopher Michael Knapp, PA-C

Christopher Knapp, PA-C, is a cardiology physician assistant specializing in high blood pressure, arrhythmia, heart disease, atrial fibrillation and high cholesterol. He is committed to patient-centered care and strives to provide cutting-edge care based on leading heart health research.  

Christopher earned a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering from the University of Florida in Gainesville and a Master of Science in physician assistant studies from Radford University in Roanoke, Virginia. While in Roanoke, he completed a fellowship in Emergency Department (ED) Observation at the Carilion Clinic. He is board-certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. 

Christopher stays active when he’s not at work, exploring the beautiful scenery, local parks and hiking trails of Newport News with his family and pets. As an avid sports fan, he enjoys watching sports and playing basketball.
