Riverside Health is proud to announce that Riverside Regional Medical Center, Riverside Walter Reed Hospital, Riverside Doctors’ Hospital Williamsburg and Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital have earned Leapfrog's inaugural Full Transparency Badge in recognition of their commitment to voluntarily reporting quality and patient safety data through the organization's annual survey. The survey serves as a national benchmark, helping healthcare organizations measure performance, identify opportunities for improvement and enhance the care they provide for patients. Riverside Smithfield Hospital was not eligible for this year's recognition because facilities must meet Leapfrog's reporting and data requirements during the designated evaluation period before receiving a Full Transparency Badge.

The Full Transparency Badge recognizes organizations that fully report safety and quality data through the Leapfrog survey, reinforcing accountability and continuous improvement. The designation also provides patients and families with access to information they can use when making healthcare decisions. By publicly sharing quality and safety measures, Riverside hospitals demonstrate a culture of transparency while advancing safe, high-quality care across the communities they serve.
