The award-winning program consists of five weekly caregiving education seminars designed to address needs of those engaged in caring for older adults.
A program of the Rosalynn Carter Institute for Caregiving, "Caring For You" is designed for family members, professional caregivers and volunteer caregivers of older adults. The cost of the entire program is $50 and includes refreshments and educational materials. A limited number of scholarships are available to support the cost of the course and help to cover respite care.

This program has received a Best Practices Award from both the Southern Gerontological Society (2012) and the Commonwealth Council on Aging (2013).
Winter 2018 - Caring for You, Caring for Me Program

This program will be held once a week for 5 weeks.
Mondays, February 26 through March 26, 2018 | 11:00 a.m. - 1:15 p.m. - Lunch is provided.
The weekly curriculum is as outlined below:
- Week 1: What it means to be a caregiver
- Week 2: Why caregivers find it challenging to care for themselves
- Week 3: Communication strategies with family, medical professionals and community agencies
- Week 4: Problem solving strategies
- Week 5: Building a list of community resources
