Internal Medicine Residency

All applications to our categorical residency program must be submitted through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS).

We utilize the National Residency Match Program (NRMP) to rank all applicants. We cannot accept applications via email or fax, and are unable to respond to any applications outside of ERAS.

Our NRMP number is: 1739140C0 and our ACGME number is: 1405100003

We require a completed ERAS Application Form which consists of the following:

  • Curriculum Vitae (CV)
  • Personal Statement explaining your interest in Internal Medicine
  • Two (2) Letters of Recommendation written in the last year by physicians with whom you have worked clinically. This must be on the physician’s letterhead stationery.
  • Dean’s Letter or Medical Student Performance Evaluation (MSPE)
  • Medical School Transcript
  • Board Scores: We accept COMLEX or USMLE. There is no minimum score requirement. However, each Step/Part must be passed on the second attempt. For students who have not taken Step/Part I and Step/Part II (CK and CS) and are invited for an interview, these must be passed and reported to ERAS in order to be ranked.
  • ECFMG certificate, if applicable
