Job Summary: Riverside Shore Healthcare at Home is seeking a staff Physical Therapist Assistant to work in various patient care settings. A staff Physical Therapist Assistant is supervised by a licensed Physical Therapist and the Home Care Therapy Manager. Participates in facility meetings, departmental meetings, in-services, educational programs, and other meetings as required to include solutions and engagement with resolution processes. Demonstrates consistent fiscal accountability, by providing recommendations and participates in supply utilization changes that support cost containment. Team member participates and provides feedback in new equipment/product evaluations; identifies and recommends solutions for cost savings and waste reduction. Performs services planned, delegated and supervised by the Physical Therapist. Prepares clinical and progress notes. Participates in teaching the client and family. Participates in in-service programs. This position may also perform other assigned duties.

Education: Physical Therapy Assistant Program Graduate required.

Licensure/Certification: Physical Therapy Assistant License in the State of Virginia required. Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record required upon hire and to be maintained during employment. Healthcare Provider CPR/BLS required. Must also have reliable transportation to make visits to patient homes each day.
