Experience with management of acute illnesses in an inpatient setting preferred, but not required.

EDUCATION

LICENSURE

Virginia license in good standing at time of hire. Current ACLS licensure at time of hire.

EXPERIENCE

JOB SUMMARY:

Hampton Roads Neurosurgical Center seeks an experienced Advanced Practitioner for a busy neurosurgical practice. Requires current RN as well as Nurse Practitioner VA licensure or Physician Assistant VA licensure. APP will function as a physician extender in clinic and at the hospital for neurosurgeons to allow better patient access. Responsible for excellent outpatient care in clinic as well as operating room assistance. Previous Critical Care and/or OR and Neuro experience preferred.
