Our history of training exceptional nurses dates back over 100 years. The School of Nursing houses our Nurse Aide, Practical Nursing, Professional Nursing, and the RN-to-Bachelor of Science in Nursing programs. RCHC Nursing programs’ curricula meet all eligibility requirements for graduates to apply for licensure and applicable examination from the Commonwealth of Virginia. Virginia is one of a group of more than 32 states that have enacted the nurse licensure compact (NLC) for Registered and Licensed Practical Nurses. Under the NLC, nurses can practice in other NLC states without having to obtain additional licenses. As of July 1, 2020, U.S. Department of Education regulation 34 CFR 668.43 (a) (5) (v) requires programs disclose that there has not been a determination of whether a curriculum meets requirements of other states.
