"We are both Tarheels and met in college in North Carolina. During graduate school in New York City, we grew closer and decided to spend the rest of our lives together. With Joann's Doctorate in Music from Columbia and Hadley's Master of Sacred of Music, we share a love of musical expression. This passion helped us develop an internationally recognized music teacher training program designed for teachers working with challenged learners.

When we were preparing for our transition, we visited 12 communities in 6 months. Warwick Forest provided the best value for total peace of mind. We decided on a large independent living apartment, and have over 1,500 square feet of living space. There was no way we could leave our baby grand piano behind, and at Warwick Forest, we didn't have to. Additionally, we have plenty of space for all of our meaningful furniture and artwork. We even closed in our porch so we could use it during all four seasons.

Beyond our lovely apartment, we enjoy the informational lecture series and working out with the highly trained personal trainers in the fitness center. The staff is attentive and takes great care of all the residents. We've made friends with people from all sorts of backgrounds, and we are happy to know many residents who share our interests in music and the arts. Not wanting to just sit around, we started a chime choir for the nursing care community and organize sing-a-longs. We love finding ways to give back that utilize our passion and expertise.

The time to move to Warwick Forest is now, when you are healthy and can take advantage of all the amenities. Our maintenance-free, secure lifestyle has freed us to enjoy more rich experiences. We didn't have to move here, we chose to, and we wouldn't change a thing."
