Riverside provides a continuum of rehabilitation services needed to recover from accidents, surgeries or illness that may limit movement or function. Our goal is to work with each individual to restore movement and help return them to everyday activities as quickly and safely as possible.

Speech therapists treat a broad spectrum of communication disorders including those caused by breathing issues, autism, hearing impairment, developmental delays, weak muscles around the mouth, stroke, Parkinson’s disease, dementia and more. At Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital, we treat patients of all ages on an outpatient basis for improvement of:
- Developmental deficits in children
- Dysphagia (trouble swallowing)
- Cognitive skills (thinking skills) and language
