Small Business Owners
Riverside Health System Foundation has set aside $1 million over the next two years to assist small businesses to begin offering health care coverage to their employees.
If you:
run a small business in the Riverside service area (cities of Williamsburg, Gloucester, Hampton, Newport News, Poquoson, Tappahannock, Smithfield, West Point, Yorktown and portions of Chesapeake and Suffolk as well as the counties of Essex, Gloucester, Isle of Wight, Suffolk, James City, King and Queen, King William, Lancaster, Mathews, Middlesex, New Kent, Charles City, Northumberland, Richmond and Surry) - have 2-50 employees.
- have not offered health care coverage to your employees in the last six months.
- have employees who make less than $42,400 a years (2008 FPL level, family of four).
Employee Eligibility Guidelines
There will be a $100 monthly premium subsidy on behalf of employees who meet the following guidelines. Income for each family size must not exceed the following maximum household income:
